Are you Living to the PLUS with your Microbiome?

Good Day Awesome People!

I don’t know if you have noticed, but I have been pumping out a crap ton of content. I submitted my manuscript for my book to a publishing company so wish me luck. I am trying to pick a topic each week and do a video and pod and writing here all relating to the topic.

I have also discovered HARO or Help a Reporter dot com. Each day I get emails with queries from reporters looking for content. This is in hopes to get published more broad and share LIVING TO THE PLUS! Also, it forces me to write the content and then I can share what I wrote across social and my blog. I think this keeps me out of trouble and distracted from writing “mean tweets” lol!

The Philosophy of treating the body and Microbiome VS Medicine

Above you see I made a Video and Podcast about the Microbiome. I am fascinated about the microbiome and what it does.

In this weeks writing to stay on topic I am going to write about the philosophy of the microbiome, working with it and treating the body vs going against nature, playing god and treating with medicine for everything…

I Googled Philosophy of Microbiology and found this link from Stanford

They had these points-

  • Microbes carry out the bulk of biological activities on the planet. They were the Earth’s first lifeforms, and lie at the base of every major transition to new forms of life.

  • Microbiology is a science that has given rise to modern medicine, molecular biology, genomics, molecular evolution, and numerous other fields, all of which generate rich philosophical discussion.

  • Microbes have capacities to be used as material models of general phenomena in experimental settings.

  • Contemporary microbiome research shows how microbes and microbiology can inform broader philosophical discussions about human nature, individuality, and causality, among other topics.

What has been glaringly apparent to me over the past two years MSM has said “follow the science” but our leaders and top “health” advisors have not been “following the science”. Heck I talk more science than those that make the big bucks! Shoot.

I have made a note to have as a future topic the history of medicine and the affects on society…

The fact of the matter is the innovation and technology of medicine is great for emergency medicine and life threatening disease. BUT we over use it for Chronic Disease by adding man made toxins into the body and are currently in a horrible death spiral of more chronic disease.

For some reason, the medical field thinks they are smarter than GOD or Nature and that they can solve the health issues of the world while they have CAUSED the health issues of the world.

We have gotten away from health. Our thinking is that we can take a pill or cut something open and problem solved. NOPE!

The pill is mainly treating symptoms and not root cause. By treating the symptoms they create side effects and then more problems and then the need for more meds, it is a viscous cycle.

When was the last time you knew someone go the to the doctor and start on medication and the doctor had a conversation with them, “Well this will be our time line, and this is what you will have to do to get off this medication in our time line…”? NOT

The medical business model is designed to create repeat customers! Prove me wrong.

What do you we need to do? Is get back to nature, get back to basics and reconnect to self, GOD/ Nature, our environment and each other!

This is where the microbiome comes in. There are trillions of microbes around, on and in us ALL WORKING TOGETHER. It’s almost like we as a people are that kid in the outfield playing with bugs and picking flowers while the rest of the team is playing to win the game…

We are so disconnect with ourselves, our health, nature, our microbes most people don’t even have a clue they exist! Just go get a pill is the philosophy.

Most of us over the past two years put all our trust into the “experts” and abandoned all common since, science and history of how to take responsibility of our own health…

I am giving yall an assignment:

  1. Watch my video and pod (Above), think about it for a bit and then let me know what you think. nicktotheplus@nicktotheplus.com

  2. Spend 10-30 min doing a bit of research on your own about the microbiome and general health.

  3. List three things you are doing to harm your health

  4. List three things you can change over the next month to benefit your health

  5. Read my blog on getting back on track

One simple thing you can do is get on Juice Plus! Just a suggestion.
