Porch Sittin

Recently I was fortunate enough to have two fabulous porch sittin sessions. Porch sittin is when you sit on the porch and have a good, long, needed conversation.

One of these sessions with my Favorite Professor, Moe Johnson. I highly respect this man, even though I feel like I let him down in a way...

I have been through some recent life events, and it is refreshing to talk to Moe, because he gets it. He knows my history, my accomplishments, and my short falls. But he also understands how things work. He sees how a lot of out things get over complicated and under done, wrong. He sees what I put into the things that I do, how much I care and how overlooked I am. I hope to get another lunch or porch sit with Moe soon.

The second porch sittin session was with one of my good friends and coworkers with High Five. Mike and I could be labeled "the opposite side of the isle", but fact is as much as people want to think, I am A-Political (Against Politics and FOR Public Health and Safety). Twice now, Mike and I have had a "political discussion" but the amazing thing, is when two people have a deep conversation, they find out that they have more common ground in thinking vs the virus of the divide. Deep thought and conversation is the actual antidote for the virus of the divide.

I am so grateful for these two conversations and Porch sittin talk. How about you go try it!
