John's Bakery and Cafe opens with new owners to replace the former Minerva Classic 57.
317 East Lincolnway, will now be John's Bakery and Cafe. This location and business has recently changed hands in ownership and will continue as a drive through convenience store, home cooking restaurant, and banquet hall.
John Myers, a hometown boy, returns to Minerva from Texas to take over this business. John and staff will continue to serve the community as one of the only home cooking restaurants in town.
John, a former dairy farmer and restaurant owner in Ohio, returns from Texas after running a successful art gallery, coffee shop, bar, and events center. The Jewel at 1102 South Alamo, located in the historic district of King William in San Antonio. The historic building built in 1850 was in shambles. John and business partners revived and remolded this historic treasure and turned it into a center piece (Jewel) for the area and the place to be.
John and staff are dedicated to giving 317 East Lincolnway a face lift and new energy to serve the community as he did in San Antonio.
